Church of the True Living Waters is a Pan-Afrakan,  Internet-based world
outreach/activist ministry offering an alternative path to those who seek the Kemetic
Metaphysical path, yet sense it's is time for something new.

With Kemetic spiritual principles and ancestral cultural traditions, Church of the True Living
Waters is a vibrant new voice for the eclectic spiritual practitioner and activist. True Kemetic
teachings were based on the foundation of Ma'at. Ma'at represents the interrelatedness of
everyone and everything through the Divine Oneness.

Church of the True Living Waters honors the sacred Wise Woman/Wise Man traditions, also
incorporating reclamation of the pentagram, the ankh, and their original Kemetic meanings.
Ast (Aset, Auset, Isis), the greatest Wise Woman of all, is honored as the Divine Mother
Goddess whose energy has returned to the planet for its healing.

All African-based paths are honored here, all the while acknowledging their numerous ties to
Kemet.

Water is also a key component to our faith. Water is Love energy. It was also a central theme
in many ancestral African traditions. Still waters are ancestral wisdom. Rivers, springs, creeks,
also called "living waters," bring renewal. Yet our ancestral line is refered to as the "River of
Ancestors." Please read the articles in this site for further enlightenment.
Honoring Nu Ancestral Voices
"New" and "Ancestral" seem oxymoronic, don't they? However, understand that NU in the
Kemetic tradition represents the ocean of limitless possibility. Our Ancestors are still
speaking to us - who are we not to listen? As we evolve as Spirits walking in flesh, and as we
enter a new age and dimension, we must continue to create Nu traditions based upon the
wisdom of old. We also discourage proselytizing - let your LIFE be your testimony.

KNOW THYSELF: Hearing the Ancestral Beckon to Come Home
"Rech-i m ab-i," misinterpreted by Greek philosophers to mean "Know Thyself," is actually
translated to "I know my heart" or "I know myself." It is a declaration, not a demand.

The world, as we know it today, leads us to believe that the reclamation of our Afrakan
Ancestral practices is archaic. At the same time we are witnessing people of other cultures
being hired to present Kwanzaa, Black History Month, and Juneteenth performances and
workshops, claiming ownership of  and authority over Afrakan-based culture and religions.
There are also more African Americans than ever who are being called to the mystical arts, yet
wondering why. It is time for us to remember and reclaim who we are.

Have you been hearing the whisperings of your Ancestors? Have you seen and felt signs
indicating that it is time for you to change your way of living? Are you hiding in the broom
closet? Are you sensing the need in your heart to finally Know Yourself? To BE yourself?
Is your heart calling you to vibrate Divine Love to transcend your trials?

Come Home. Your River of Ancestors and the Gods and Goddesses of your people are
waiting with joyous anticipation.
